The serpentine case holds two long drawers with carved fronts. Below them, the shaped apron is carved with flowing acanthus vines, a classic motif of French Rococo design. The chest stands on elegant cabriole legs ending in hoof feet. The walnut has developed an old, pleasing patina that shows its age and history. This antique French chest works well as a refined accent in an entry, living room, or bedroom.

Materials: Walnut

Dimensions: 33" H x 25" D x 38" W

Condition: Very good condition; old pleasing patina.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0527/8472/6186/files/Front_view_of_an_18th_century_French_Louis_XV_carved_walnut_chest_with_a_serpentine_front_and_two_long_drawers.png?v=1790952337
