Behind the short drawers are small hidden drawers. One is pencil inscribed 1861. The fall front in the lower case opens to an interior with small drawers in satinwood centering a mirrored alcove with a parquetry surface. The lower case has three drawers over a short bracket foot. The condition is very fine.
