About Us

Acanthus Antiques was established in 1989 in the Washington, D.C. area. We have been under continuous ownership and our roots go back to the 1930s in New York when there was a family decorating business.  Acanthus Antiques specializes in Fine and Decoratives, antique furniture, and antique, estate, and contemporary jewelry.

In 2016 we relocated to Charleston, SC. and are now exhibiting at Antiques at South Windermere and Seventeen South Antiques in West Ashley, Charleston, S.C. Additionally, we maintain a large private by appointment showroom. Our collection of jewelry includes a wide array of cufflinks and stick pins for the gentlemen, as well as every other conceivable form of jewelry for the ladies.

Our inventory changes daily, as we are always purchasing. Feel free to contact us about specific items for which you are searching. We keep a file for requests.  Also, feel free to contact us with individual pieces or collections with which you wish to part.
