The pendant has a center cabochon turquoise shaped like an elongated oval stone, surrounded by an outer band of open filigree scrolled vines. The pendant is surmounted with an acanthus leaf splayed over an oval bezel with bead and leaf decoration. The outer band has a slight rose hue to the gold. A swivel bale and a horizontal cross pin allow it to be worn as a brooch or pendant. The condition is excellent, and it tests 14K. ...

There has been a swivel bale added to the piece so that it can be worn as a pendant. It appears that the clasp has been reinforced. The condition of the shell cameo itself is excellent. It tests 10K, there are no marks.
