The pendant with the bezel set polished agate suspends by a silver flower. The piece is marked Denmark, GI 54 and 830. It is in very good condition with some tarnish and very minor age appropriate surface scratches on the stone from age and use. This is wonderful Victorian period brooch depicting a bee set with ruby eyes and rose cut diamond wings. The tail is fitted with two cultured pearls. The rose gold tests 14K, there are no marks. The body and legs are in rose gold; the wings are in white gold with three tiny diamonds on each wing. The pearls are 6 and 5 mm in diameter. Condition is excellent. The brooch dates c. 1880s - 1910. Dimensions: Wing span: 1 1/2", Height 1", Weight: 5.83 grams.
