It tests 18K and silver and there are no marks. The condition is excellent. A bale could be added and allow it to be worn as a pendant, but it is currently in its original condition with its original C clasp.

This is a wonderful late Georgian period silver and gold oval brooch with 22 old mine-cut diamonds. The center of the brooch is rose gold openwork design surrounded by silver and diamonds. The back has been stamped 800, but I believe that was done later. The gold on top tests 10K. It has the old C clasp. The diamonds have been tested. The condition is excellent.

The gold on half of the shank has a Florentine patina. It is marked 14K with RJ as the initials of the maker. The 1.1 carat amethyst is not a deep purple, but a very bright colored one. The condition is very good.
