Description Sales Policy

This exceptional William Spratling cuff bracelet is an early Taxco .980 fine silver example dating to circa 1940–1944, featuring bold geometric openwork inspired by pre‑Columbian design. Highly desirable early hallmarks—TAXCO, WS, and 980—confirm its authenticity and first‑period production.

William Spratling (1900–1967), known as the Father of the Mexican Silver Renaissance, revitalized Taxco’s silver industry and established a design language that blended modernist aesthetics with indigenous Mexican motifs. Early .980 silver pieces from his first workshop period are among the most sought‑after by collectors.

Crafted in .980 fine silver, the bracelet showcases hand‑fabricated openwork with stepped geometric scrolls.
